1. Definitions
- "Agreement" means these Terms and Conditions.
- "Course" means any online AI or Python programme offered by Minda Cerdas.
- "Learner" or "You" means the individual who enrols in a Course.
- "Content" means all course materials, videos, exercises, and documentation produced by Minda Cerdas.
- "Platform" means the website and online learning environment operated by Minda Cerdas.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By completing an enrolment and making payment, you enter into a binding agreement with Minda Cerdas. You confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years of age
- You have the legal capacity to enter this Agreement
- The information you have provided during enrolment is accurate
3. Course Description and Access
Minda Cerdas offers three online courses: AI & Python Foundations (8 weeks), Applied Machine Learning (10 weeks), and Building & Deploying AI Apps (12 weeks). Courses are delivered via recorded lessons, weekly live sessions, and written assignments.
- Access to recorded lessons is provided for the duration of your enrolled cohort
- Live sessions are scheduled in advance and will be communicated before the course begins
- Course materials are in English
- A stable internet connection and compatible device are required
Minda Cerdas reserves the right to adjust course schedules, session times, or materials for operational or educational reasons. We will notify enrolled learners in advance where reasonably possible.
4. Learner Account
You will receive login credentials to access course content. You are responsible for:
- Keeping your credentials confidential
- Not sharing account access with others
- Notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access
Accounts may not be transferred to another person.
5. Learner Responsibilities and Acceptable Use
As a learner, you agree to:
- Engage with course materials in good faith and for personal educational purposes only
- Submit original work for assignments — do not present others' work as your own
- Treat instructors, teaching assistants, and fellow learners with respect in all interactions
- Not record, copy, or distribute live session content without written permission
- Not use course content for commercial purposes or republish it without authorisation
Minda Cerdas may remove access to the platform for learners who engage in disruptive, abusive, or dishonest behaviour, without a refund where the breach is substantial.
6. Intellectual Property
All course content — including lesson videos, exercises, written materials, and code examples — remains the intellectual property of Minda Cerdas. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use Content for your personal educational development during the course period.
Work you create and submit as part of assignments remains your own. Minda Cerdas may use anonymised excerpts for internal quality review purposes only.
7. Payment Terms
Course fees are payable in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) prior to the start of your cohort. Accepted payment methods include online banking (FPX), debit and credit cards, and approved e-wallets. All prices are inclusive of any applicable taxes.
- Payment must be completed before your access is activated
- Receipts will be issued by email
- Minda Cerdas does not store card or bank account details
8. Refund Policy
We want you to feel confident enrolling. Our refund terms are as follows:
- More than 7 days before course start: full refund on request
- Within 7 days before course start: 50% refund on request
- After the course has started: no refund, except in exceptional circumstances at our sole discretion
Refund requests should be submitted to [email protected] with your enrolment details. Refunds will be processed within 14 working days.
9. Completion Certificate
A completion certificate is issued to learners who submit all required assignments and the final project within the course period. Certificates reflect completion of the specific course and are issued by Minda Cerdas. They do not confer any formal qualification or academic credit.
10. Disclaimers
Minda Cerdas provides courses for educational purposes. We do not make representations about specific employment, salary, or career outcomes. Individual results depend on your prior background, effort during the course, and decisions made after completing it.
Course content is provided in good faith and reflects the state of the field at the time of production. AI and machine learning tools change rapidly — we review and update content between cohorts but cannot ensure materials remain current indefinitely.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, Minda Cerdas's liability to you is limited to the course fee you have paid. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses arising from your use of the course or platform.
12. Termination
Either party may terminate this Agreement:
- By you: by ceasing to use the platform and requesting deletion of your account
- By us: by removing your access where you have breached these terms materially
On termination, your access to course content ends. Clauses relating to intellectual property, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution survive termination.
13. Dispute Resolution
We encourage you to contact us at [email protected] in the first instance if you have a concern. Most issues can be resolved through direct communication.
Where a dispute cannot be resolved informally, this Agreement is governed by the laws of Malaysia. Both parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia for any legal proceedings.
14. General
- Entire agreement: this Agreement, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitutes the entire agreement between you and Minda Cerdas regarding your enrolment
- Severability: if any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect
- No waiver: failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of our rights
- Assignment: you may not assign your rights under this Agreement; we may assign ours in connection with a business transfer
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. When changes are material, we will update the "Last Updated" date and notify enrolled learners by email. Continued enrolment after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
